    Hi all.

For anyone that converted their scar to open bolt and have the old parts, I'm looking for the closed bolt assembly parts, mainly the barrel and bolt though bit would take all.

Based in north Wicklow and would prefer tomeet and examine rather than post.

Also if anyone has an open bolt kit they never used I might consider that if it was a good deal.

    Cheers!

I have the kit, changed it over when the gun was new so it has done nothing only sit in a box, i have the original handgrip and selector switches also as i switched them out for the magpul ones and the rear iron sight. I also have the closed bolt NPAS valve in the box and I think the original closed bolt magazine parts from two mags are in there too, (definately from one mag)
whole lot is yours for €65

the hitch is i am away working at the moment so i'll have to get my girlfriend to post the kit off to you if you want it but i promise its perfect.

I also have an eotech flip to side magnifier for €30 if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated.
The main thing is for this to be worth it it needs to be a lot cheaper than an open bolt kit seeing as really I only need some small parts from the barrel to get the current one working (but of course extra parts are always great and I'm willing to pay a little more than the parts I need of course when there are a few extras).
Would you do it for €35 posted as it would be a small return in cost for you from converting it to OB and would make it worth my while to repair mine?

I know your offer has a few extras with it but just for reference redwolf have the open bolt kit for $72.70 (plus shipping although out of stock currently) I've seen it elsewhere for $77 so it would probably be more worthwhile just getting that if I had to pay much for the parts I need as the open bolt kit would negate the need for any parts if you get me.

    Hey,

Thanks for your offer but I have a black one in PWO and the current Tan one that needs some minor parts but not enough to warrant a replacement.
Great gun and a pretty good price though GLWS.

can you do 40? the box does weigh a fair bit for post!
    any interest in the magnifier?
i might not be online again until tomorrow night so no panic if you don't hear from me for a bit.

Alright that sounds good to me. Would you post via registered for €43?
Just to confirm whats included, everything in your post presumably includes the old trigger mech too yes?
Is it fitted with NPAS or just a lower flow bolt (ie reduce to legal limit but non adjustable)?
    Cheers.
    If so to PM's?

Also sorry but I have loads of scopes... No magnifier but I don't think I'd use it to be honest thanks.

    That'll be fine.
the box has all the parts that you change out for the open bolt kit, the grip and the selector switches, with both of the ball bearings are in it too. It also has the rear iron sight and the parts from the mags, i think it might only be the parts from one mag, i really don't remember if i put them in the box or not.
I am pretty certain it is the npas valve for the closed bolt as i have the tool for adjusting it in the box too. there are a few new bits too, the valve knocker and the other stainless bit that can wear/break in the trigger box, not a notion of the name of it but they are in there too. there might be a couple of other bits but i cannot remember and i am out of the country.
all in all it's a handy box of spares that is doing nothing at home so it might as well go to someone who will use it.
Are you happy enough with paypal?
