Quick question about ps3?

    Okay so i have an xbox but want to get a ps3 my question is about online play. So i use a meteor dongle to connect to xbox live and it works great no lag or anything which i know is strange! Anyway im wordering would it work just aswell with playstation network or is it impossible to tell? Any help appreciated!

    I used an eircom dongle for a year with no problems about 2 years ago. Mainly played Fifa and COD at the time. Any chance you could borrow a PS3 maybe?

    no im going to plug it into my laptop then link it to the ps3 with the ethernet works great with the xbox so hopefully works just aswell with the ps3.:)

    Yeah i use it that way too for the ps3 and works perfectly so you should be good

    glad to hear it works for you guys :) Cant wait to play ratchet,sly and jak again havent played them since childhood! Think im going to buy from amazon.

    One of my friends uses a meteor dongle to play online with me. He has a far better connection than I do :P

    I used a Meteor dongle with my PS3 for a year and I was amazed at how reliable the connection was. It dropped out occasionally which cost me a couple of games of FIFA but 95% of the time it was very stable.

    I've got UPC now and wouldn't look back, but the dongle will work fine for you once you get it set up.
