    Hi.
We have storage heaters and Day / Night meters. At what time does the evening rate kick in?

    Thanks :)

    Hi Fatscally,

The nightrate should kick in at midnight until 9am the following morning. When the clocks go back (this won't be until 28/10/12), the nightrate will then become active in the hours of 11pm until 8am.

You mentioned that you have meters, plural? The day/night (or dual tariff) meter is a single meter with two rows of readings and a timeclock linked to it - if it is a newer digital model, the readings and timeclock are integrated into the single row display (see here for example). Do you have more than one physical meter?

If you have any further questions I'll be happy to help.

    Thanks,

    David.
