    Hi
When sports are on RTE in the bottom
Right hand corner there's writing: 26 October.
Anyone know what this refers to?
I'm guessing a major sports event but don't know what.

    Cheers
    Pa

It is the date that analogue television turns off. If you see it then you will need to upgrade to digital television.

It's on all programmes, not only on sports shows,
    and it's 24th October, not 26th.
