Is anyone having a problem viewing this online. I keep getting ""commercial break"" on the screen. Have been getting this since just after throw in. Never have had any problems viewing games online in the past.

the commercials came up once or twice early on in the first half on tv. I must say the camera work or whoever is in charge today is awful. Camera far too close to players at times and have missed one or two scores while showing replays. Im getting a headache watching it

I saw on the RTE site they apologised as they are having issues with the online feed.

ref is a joke in this game...as good as monaghan have been the two peno shouts for down ignored by the ref were shocking decisions.

+1. An absolute disgrace. Some awful decisions.

number 12 for monaghan is trying more clotheslines than a wwe wrestler.

And there's another bad decision. Monaghan player overcarried and then fell down.

No way should that free have been allowed to be taken quickly after the referee called the Down player over to him.

Its amazing he can see a shirt being pulled from 30 yards but for some reason misses a forward being shoved over from 10 yards?

The only thing worse than the ref is the RTE analyst. Surely there are better availiable?

He also called the player over to book/ speak to him then let the game go on for the monaghan goal.

wow. despite the ref down somehow pull that out of the bag.

also thought the coverage from the bbc was awful...they kept cutting away from the game to show replays and thus we would miss scores from free kicks etc.....fair play to Down for the way they came back.

The replay for that monaghan goal is worse looking at it after, the ref was calling the down player over and the free was taken ten yards from the spot he was pointing to.

fairly bad day for the official.

Dick Clerkin cost Monaghan the game. Not just the wide at the end, but the 3 other wides in the second half he had when he should have passed and going down like a wimp looking for a free and giving the ball away at a crucial stage. Add in that he couldn't win anything in midfield in the second half. Monaghan have some fine footballers, but lads like this have cost them

Gee what a second half. Even with the help of the referee (who was appalling) Monaghan still threw it away. If they'd Freeman in the first half you'd imagine they'd have been far more ahead at h/t. Down were far superior in the second half and the pace they moved at and the speed of their play was very impressive. They have poor backs but if they can give their forwards (especially the short but very lively no 14) plenty of service they may take beating.

Fair play to Down. Really enjoyed that, eased my hangover :)

Didn't he miss a shot in front of the goal too at a crucial stage near the end? Would have put them 4 up and would have been the winner imo. Cost them the game with that as well as the incidents you mentioned

    Monaghan panicked, Down didn't.

Ref was shocking for the goal. Not nice to see. Only for that though Down would have coasted to victory. What a horror show of a second half by Monaghan.

Also that free out the ref gave in the last play to Monaghan for a "throw". Pass didn't look different to any other, can't help but feel he wanted to get the play down the other end for a draw. He'd a nightmare if I'm honest and I don't like criticising officials
