    Hey guys , just a quick question , one of my mates is telling me that his missus is using a golden media satellite box and paying 7 euro a month to recieve hd channels and has all the premiership games , anybody know what service they are using it could be ?


    Also separate note , is there a possibility that I could get a satellite system , with dutch tv ?

    the op is not implying nor suggesting illegal activity but simple asking is there a service that is this price.
    the op may be only familiar with ntl or sky and hence is wondering is there another service

    your friend might be using freesat and paying a skysport subscription.(or other sports channel subscription)
    this involves a once off cost of a satellite and sky sports pack subscription
    this is FULLY LEGAL .

    between a sky subscription and itv and other tv channels you would get most of the matches

    free sat would also have dutch and many other tv and radio channels from all over the world

    Its probably the Al jazeera sport subscription you need a dish pointing at the Satellite TV System on Hotbird 13E or NILESAT 7W and a subscription card like this one http://www.jsc-cards.com/order/buy-al-jazeera-card-1-to-10-hd-ch.html

    Freesat only carries programming from Astra 2 / 1N at 28.2e, no Dutch programmes there.
    A Free to air receiver connected to a multifeed dish, or motorised can also get Dutch programmes, on Astra 1, 19.2e mainly, but not many.

    All the premiership games as described by the OP would imply more than Sky Sports. Golden media boxes are used for mainly one reason.

    Of course I can't say for certain without more information but I would highly suspect it is what I mentioned above.
