I have a gap between my front teeth (i think developed over time after an extraction of a side tooth), the front left tooth is slightly loose and starting to narrow nearer the gum (have ignored the problem for too long). Firstly, im hoping the tooth can be saved, and if so, i'd like to have them back together (without the gap). Hope one of you could recommend who to see about this, and if you would have any idea of the kind of money involved. I live Dublin/Kildare border, and wouldnt rule out travelling if the savings were worth it. Any advice i would be very grateful, thx.

There are a few things described here and it's hard to get a grasp of everything from the lay description...

Gaps can be sorted with braces (orthodontist) or fillings/ crowns/ veneers (prosthodontist)
Gaps wit loose teeth indicates possibe periodontal disease so a periodontist may be necessary...
Narrowing near the gum, caused by gum disease recession or decay??

So many different possibilities that no one here can give you good advice without seeing you.... See your general dentist and take it from there....

    Good luck,
    OS

Thx OS. You are probably right, see what a dentist advises.
