Just wondering if anyone knows of any Jag specific meets this summer, or maybe planning one, or interested in same? Even a simple get together, bite of lunch and a bit of motoring?

Check out the websites for the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club (jecireland.org) which is based mainly in Cork and Irish Jaguar and Daimler club (irishjagclub.ie) which is mainly Dublin based. Both do runs and are very welcoming of any fellow Jag Enthusiast joining in.

Annual Terenure Classic car show which is organised by the Jaguar owners club takes place in about two weeks. It will have a huge Jaguar presence as well as lots of other clubs. It is well worth a visit and there is usually a car or two over from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust in the UK.

I'd be on for a meet-up for sure.

The non-denominational ones tend to be just as interesting though - I abandon the XK8 and go look at all the other stuff. Octane.ie have a 'cars and coffee' meet first Sunday of the month at Cherrywood off the M50.
