Hi, I've applied to go to college next year. I did my Leaving Cert two years ago and took 2 years out so that I could apply for the Back To Education allowance, which I am now eligible to receive.

However I am unsure whether the Back To Education allowance covers the course fee or whether I have to get a grant form and fill it in, Im receiving social welfare at the moment, it's just a matter of knowing whether the Back To Education allowance covers the fees or if course fees are dealt with elsewhere?

Regardless of BTEA, you complete the grant application process in order to have fees payed.
