    Howdy guy's and gals,

Came across a Bushnell banner 6-18X50 the other day and was really impressed with it. Has anyone any experience with one ... I'd be using it for foxing and a little target shoot'n ...

    Opinions ....

    Thanks.

It'l do the job but there's better out there and I'd nearly go the extra few quid and have a look second hand! It's perfect for anything 100-200 lamping, past that its not great!

Kaps 8 x 56 with illuminated dot, super glass, great under the lamp, just put up the gun and bang no messing about , set you back about 800 , but as was said buy the right one now and have it for the rest of your life

I had a hawe sidewinder and thought it was good for the money but another guy told me he had a hawke sidewinder and thought it was very good too until he got a bushnell banner for another rifle and said there is no comparrison, he said the banner was a lot better, so they must must be decent enough, althought if you up your budget you should be able to pick up a nice second hand scope, the likes of a burris fullfield II or leupold or fixed power european brand often pop up for 3-500 euro on here, keep saving and waiting for a nice scope to pop up, dont rush into buying a new cheap scope because it will let you down some night

FS you know my thoughts on the Bushnell's - Top class glass for the money and spot on for all types of shooting. Have a read though the reviews of the Banner scopes at Cabella's in the states, where the americans use them on every cal. of rifle up to 300win mag.

I have 5 Bushnell scopes one of which is the 6-18x50 Banner, used on my 10/22 for gallery comp. shooting. Great scope and it will do everything you need to do with it. With the bigger 50mm objective lens you'll find the view nice and bright and it has a speical coating to give you those extra minutes at 'dusk & dawn'.

In fact I'm looking to get another Banner 6-18x50 for my Lever action .357.

You should be able to pick them up new @€;200-€250
