Snacks and lunches ideas

I am just here looking for ideas about what people eat for lunch and snacks. I find I am fine for breakfast (porridge) and dinner, but I find I am quite limited in what I eat for lunch and snacks and as a result, get bored very easily.

For snacks, I am currently am eating fruit; banana, apples oranges etc. For lunch I will have a salad with tuna/eggs/chicken but I find this terribly boring and by the end of the week, I am craving sandwiches and all the bad high carbs!

I am currently training for the marathon and am running about 25-30 miles a week (rising to 40-45 over the next few months) so I don’t want to restrict my calories too much, but I would like to be getting ‘good’ food in my diet to help with my training, but would like to introduce a bit of variety.

    Any suggestions?
