Intermittant Shower Problem ;-(

    Hi - I need some help on what's up with my shower & to find out if I need a plumber or is it an easy fix?!
    We have two showers running off one pump in the hot press. The upstairs shower works fine always.
    the downstairs shower starts/stops every 2 seconds.. power comes & goes... when I lay it down in the bath it works a lot better... but it hasn't got the power to pump it when I raise it overhead (as required).
    I knocked off the power to the pump & the shower worked okay when I lay it down.
    anyone know is this a pump problem (remember it works the one upstairs fine), or an air lock? or anything else?
