Where does the Contract lie when something is purchased on a credit card?

    Retailer or Credit Card co?

Sorry as I've asked this before but maybe in a too long winded fashion. Slowly learning less is more. 2.1 in all subjects this year - not too bad was expecting a bigger spread tbh. 61 - 68 I'll live with though :)

Not to sure what the answer is. But well done on the results, keep it up, next year will be a lot harder but more enjoyable.

There is more than one contract in play here.

If I purchase goods from a shop and pay by credit card, the "main" contract is between me and the shop.

There are underlying contracts then concerning the credit card -- you have an agreement with the credit card company re. payment terms and the shopowner has a separate agreement as a retailer.

However, the credit card company itself has no relationship with the goods themselves.
