    Hey all,

Quick one - anyone know if it's possible to flash an Imagine Wimax Router (Motorola CPEi 775 AFAIK) for use with another ISP (e.g Vodafone)?

It appears to be locked down - i.e the WiFi section is available, but the Internet section (presumably for configuring username, password, encapsulation, multiplexing etc) is not available.

    Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt imagine so, it seems to be a specific WiMax router.

Damn.. just thought it was branded a lá the Eircom branded Netopia Cayman routers (which are easily configurable for any other ISP).

Nah eircom / vodafone etc is ADSL where as Imagine is WiMax which is an actual connection type, Imagine just have the rights in Ireland or something like that.

Oh... WiMax is an actual connection type? Just thought it was Imagine's fancy way of saying wireless broadband... sounds like something Craig Doyle would advertise.

Back in it's box so! :D
