    Have an interview with these guys Friday, really need to find a job by next week and im already studying marketing anyway. I know there is a huge thread on this already but after reading some of it im a bit confused, as some of the names are blocked out and various other companies are mentioned. Are they really a scam? Or is it just you are not guaranteed a set pay because its commission only? I called the woman back after reading some of this and was fed what i think is a load of sh*t. Anyone have first-hand experience? Also, anyone know anything about Mahon Enterprises? Thanks!!!

    Mahon Enterprises ? Never heard of them but be aware these direct sales outfits are constanly popping up and changing names.

    To call these companies ' scams ' is inaccurate ( only slightly mind ) , however they work staff to the bone , don't pay expenses , pay commission only ( after deductions for ' training ' ).
    I don't know why you're asking these questions TBH - the answers are here already.

    I am asking these questions just in case some legitimate companies accidentally get grouped into the companies described. Surely there are sales companies that treat their employees better, they may be few and far between but I'm sure they exist. I really need a job but can't afford to waste my time either. I should have clarified, I suppose what I am looking for is someone who has first hand experience with them.

    Right, cancelled both of those interviews...100% commission based. Googled Mahon Enterprises and found a previous address at Capel St so Im thinking it may have been one of the previous companies described in the massive thread and as you said, they changed names. Their website is full of technical errors and even grammar mistakes. Total joke...back to square one again :/
