Going from daily contacts to monthly-problem

I've been using Focus Dailies (Toric for Astigmatism) for the past 2 years.
My right eye lens has a power of -2.75, Cylinder of -1.50 and Axis of 70.
My problem is that I can't find any Toric lenses with those specifications?
I use getlenses.ie and whenever I put in -2.75 for the monthlies, there's no option of -1.50 for the Cylinder.
Is there anything I can do?

Also, the base curve (8.6) and diameter (14.2) of my focus dailies are different to the monthlies that I've been looking at. Does that matter?

    Cheers!

If you want to change from a daily lens to a monthly lens, you are better off having a chat with your optometrist. Topic lenses do not come in every combination and they all have different methods for stabilising themselves on the eye. By having a fitting it means you wont end up with a big supply that don't suit your eyes.

Thanks for that! Think I'll do just that!

Yes very important to have yearly check ups or refit appointment if changing lenses, even if you wish to purchase online. The base curve does matter, as do the other measurements. Once you have a prescription that is within the year old you are fine to purchase the prescribed lenses as you please.

Hope this helps, contact lens problems cannot always be felt as pain but can do serious damage, always better to be safe over sorry :)
