Leaving Dubai Airport

My missus has a 10 hour stopover in Dubai next week on her way to Durban and she was wondering if she can leave the airport and stay with her cousin (who's a short taxi ride away) and get some decent sleep instead of staying awake all night in the terminal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs website....

National citizens of the following countries:

UK(with the right of abode in UK), France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and holders of Hong Kong SAR passports will be granted a free of charge visa for a single visit upon arrival in the UAE.

Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stopover in the UAE.
