have an lg42lw450u 3d tv. it says its freeview built in and also saorview built in my question is how do i access the freeview? do i just plug the wire from the dish straight into the back of the tv?

its only got one aerial input on the back of the tv, do i plug into that or am i missing something? as i said its got freeview built in so i'm assuming i dont need a set top box????

tv supports mpeg 4 if thats any use to know?
i live in waterford can my area get freeview or is it possible to get freeview in ireland for that matter?

thanks in advance for any info

Freeview only exists in the UK (parts of the coast along Wexford or the border you might pick up overspill if you had a big aerial positioned correctly).

You will receive Saorview (RTE1, 2HD, TV3, 3e, RTE News Now, Kids/RTE+1 and Tg4) on it by connecting an aerial to the back of the television and scanning "digital".
