Thistlex near new hedge?

    Hi all

I've a field covered in thistles, it has to be tackled with Thistlex in the next week or two but the field is bordered by a young Hawthorn hedge planted last winter.

Can any possible drift from Thistlex be harmful to the hedge at this age? I'll be keeping back approx 3m from the perimeter as a precaution but would like to know if folks ever had any damage to young plantings from this drift.
Would hate to see anything happen to that hedge after all the work that went into it,

    Cheers

Top the thistles so. Young hawthorn/beech will keel over if it even sees you in the field with a sprayer:)
