Ibiza or 'Ibiza-type' lads holiday

Hi, I've never been to Ibiza and am just looking for opinions on where best to stay for a small group of 23 year old lads. I guess we'd be on a medium/low budget but wouldn't want to stay in a complete ****hole. Is San Antonio the best area?

Would it still be possible to find a good deal for July or August?

Or do people have suggestions for a better 'Ibiza-type' experience (ie good bars/clubs, beach) somewhere else for a weeks holiday or so?

    Thanks

Was their 10 years ago wouldn't think its changed much. Also done tenerife gran canaria and santa ponza their all kinda the same. Ibiza and tenerife are a bit wilder than the other two .Have a look here for booking hotel you can read the reviews on the hotels nothing worse than getting stuck in a **** hole happened to me last year in tenerife place was a kip http://www.travelrepublic.ie/ http://www.ryanair.com/en and yes San Antonio is the best place in ibiza manumission in ibiza is some spot its well worth going to hope that helps
