how to dispose of ancient malfunctioning laptop

    anyone how/where to dispose of a laptop - way beyond repair, 12 years old and has a malfunctioning motherboard due to my spilling liquid on it a few years back. I'm in Dublin. Not as easy as I thought it would be to get rid of it, googling only yields suggestions as to where to donate working laptops.

    any old electrical equipmnt can be disposed of for free ( weee regulations)

    Bring it into power city in Finglas/Coolock and you will see a large steel cage full of old junk tech behind the til, just through it in the cage it's free.;)
