    Hi All.

Is it just me or have HR in companies could not give a toss.

I recently attended 2 interviews 1 in Cork where i had worked on contract a few years ago flew through first interview then had phone interview from the USA,Went well so i thought then thats it 5 weeks later not a sausage and all Cork HR keep saying is no decision and no feedback WTF:eek: There still advertising the jobs??

    The search goes on.
interview in Dublin 2 weeks ago all happened very fast a few calls with HR all happy straight to Dublin next day 1 1/2 hour interview hardest one i have ever done they were asking questions from a script.
tough interview but ticked most of the boxes,
I sent a polite e-mail last Thursday and again complete silence and no calls Or e-mail replies.

All i ask is surely to god is they set up an Auto reply e-mail stating they will make contact with successful candidates only then at least you know.

Last bit is they have even gone on Linked in and checked your profile.

My CV was professionally done Im 41 have vast experience in my Area even went back and educated myself,

Sorry for the Rant but hopefully HR companies might read this and show a little Courtesy and set up an Auto reply.

Mean while The search goes

I think their answer was honest: they have not made a decision who to hire yet; they are waiting to see if better candidates are available.

In fairness they have only had two working days to reply. They could be busy, on holidays, or have not made a decision yet.

But I agree with your general point that on the assumption they are not busy or on holidays, they should send some sort of feedback, even a one liner saying no decision has been made yet... Many HR people, in my experience, are ridiculously lazy. I actually think it's the sitting around doing nothing all day... can't be good for you! (Note my use of "Many"; I am sure there are plenty of non-lazy HR people too).

I don't understand what you are saying here. Do you mean they checked your linkedin profile...?

LinkedIn is the very first place I'd check if I got a CV in.
