Has anyone been to the Devils Glen Waterfall near Ashford?? Can you walk next to the river on the way to the waterfall or is it all up high away from the river? I'm looking to get close enough to the river, not necessarily near the falls to get some photos of water flowing over rocks.

There is about a 3km walk along river, also a higher route, so both

Yeah can do both, think the best path to take is the one from the back right of the car park(in relation to entrance).

There's a map here ... http://www.coillteoutdoors.ie/uploads/tx_r3coillterecreationsites/Devils_Glen.pdf You need the waterfall walk but if you want to walk along the river all the way you need to do it anti-clockwise, so leave the car park to the right.

Saw quite a few dippers on the river recently too if that's your thing :)
