Not exactly sure what you mean? Is the screen not supposed to go a little dark when watching a movie? Does it go off like the phone is sleeping?

Go to setting when the video is playing, video brightness and uncheck automatic brightness.

Go to setting when the video is playing, video brightness and uncheck automatic brightness.

As above, its just the automatic brightness setting, turn it off and set it manually to what suits you.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the advice, i finally got it in the end, when i had the phone sideways it didnt give me the option to set the brightness on the vidoes, but i found it when i had the phone held in my hand as normal.

Its a bit strange that it doesnt light up like that automatically when you play a movie.

    Thanks again folks
