Just noticed that there is a patch of hair missing on my dogs hind leg and the skin is discoloured.Just wondering what may be the cause of this and what can I do to treat it.

You need to take your dog to the.vet. We are not qualified to diagnose medical conditions with animals. It could be a number of things so a vet trip is in order.
