Planning to order SKY package with Electro Plus(called up SKY and they suggested me to contact Electro Plus as I live in apt)as these are the guys who are providing the service, does anyone know will there be any hidden charges from these guys...

They are providing same packages as sky(25+8+15 with HD box free and HD channels free for 3 months) but they are charging €30 for installation at the moment...

    Any other charges:confused:

Would the installation charge not vary, if the job is considered more than "standard installation"

    Have you a phoneline? There's a €37.50 one-off surcharge for no phoneline.

Sky charge the 'no phoneline fee',however 99% of Irish Sky retailers waive this fee so the op shouldn't have to pay this fee if they have no phoneline.

Sorry yeah, I wasn't specific enough. It's Sky that charge the 37.50, I was just mentioning it, incase the OP wasn't aware of it, and may or may not get charged it (if he's no phoneline).

Electroplus may have cabled up and installed a communal system in the building, and when orders are received by sky, their system directs the customer to Electroplus to provide the installation.

Yes that seems normal enough. If a specialist company have equipment in your apartment block Sky refer you to them so they can solve any problems. Should not cost any extra depending on your actual needs.
