I'm looking for a set or even individual extended choke tubes. They must be Beretta Optma Plus and in good condition.

    Hi Dazed,

I live in Kerry and until recently had a Beretta 682 Gold E sporter(Optima Choked). It was a great gun but changed it as it had 28inch barrels and I fancied something with 30 inch for clays.

    I still have the following,

A Beretta Optima Choke Extended (1/2) new in clear tube which I bought as a spare and never used.

A set of 3 virtually never used Briley Extended chokes for Beretta Optima. They are Skeet, Light Modified and Modified. They all come in individual tubes and are beautifully machined with a knurled comfortable grip on the extended part. Choke key and box as well. I'd like to let them go to someone who would use them as I shoot a Zoli gun now and have no use for them. Bought them from Chris Potter guns in UK. I'm not great with posting photos but will try to send you pics if interested.

    Regards.

    Hey Rimfire,

My Semi-Auto uses Optima Plus chokes and your chokes would not fit it. However my dad is sceptical about me spending all my money on wizardry for my gun when it already comes with 5 chokes. He shoots a 682 Gold E Sporter too. I'd love to put some aftermarket chokes in it for him and see if he notices a difference. I've been looking at Briley chokes online, did you find them any good?

    Hi Dazed,

You're right, never thought of Optima Plus being different but it is, so many types with Beretta at the moment.

The main thing I found with the Brileys was there seemed to be more distance / killing power with the more open chokes, I thought I would go and buy a 3/4 or Full as well but never needed to. Also, the Beretta Optimas had a coloured ring around each indicating constriction which was fading and cracking on mine, the Brileys dont have that so look better (sounds fussy I know but Gold E being a fairly good quality gun I fancied having it looking right).

    Regards.

That's brilliant, and its the exact same reason I like the Brileys. I like the build quality and the options available with them. I might still be interested in your chokes. How much would you want for them? PM me if you want.

Optima tubes bought from rimfire guy, they look great in pics, can't wait to try them out. I'm still looking for a set of Optima Plus tubes if anyone has one.
