    Please contact the Dog Warden immediately. The standard practice now is for Dog owners to alert the Warden if a dog goes missing. More chance of finding the owner that way than a random viewer on Boards.

    If you're on facebook, post the pic on the Drogheda Animal Rescue page. If you take him to a vet, they could scan him for a microchip.

    Anyone know if the owner turned up? That's a beautiful dog. If the dog warden did pick him up he'd be pts in the pound if the owners didn't turn up within 5 days.

    Yeah whatever you do, dont give him to the warden.
    If you can hold onto him and sign him up to the DAR, they might pay the cost of his food bills for you while either the owner gets in touch or they can find someone for him.

    He's not on the pounds website anyway so I doubt OP handed him over to the warden.
