lesions on rabbits??

    was out bunny bashing earlier and noticed that all the rabbits i shot had a number of sores on their feet and heads:eek:, some weeping and some scabbed. no photos as i wasn't putting the possibly diseased yokes in the car, charlie will eat well tonight :D anyway, anyone come across this before or know what it is??

    When ya say weeping do the eyes looks kind of crusted over??

    Did ya get REALLY close to them?. Ones done my direction had this too man

    That sounds like mixy.
    One of the lads walked up to one when we were out a week or 2 ago and put him out of his missery from about a foot away.

    We lamped the field one night and there was well over 100 rabbits in it. wonder how many of them in that highly overpopulated area got wiped out

    Sounds like mixy alright especially with this rain we have had it will spread like wild fire ,had a mixy rabbit last year out the back trap itself in a corner ,poor buggar couldnt see. Went out and finished him quick ,he didn't even have the will to move or fight
