External Harddrive Recommendations

    Hey Guys,

I'm looking at buying an external harddrive over the next week or so to use as my file storage drive as I'm replacing my internal drive with a 128GB SSD for the OS & Programs only.

My current internal drive which is used for everything is only 300GBs and there's only 100GB free on it, and that's after having to get rid of a load of stuff.

Ideally I would like 1TB drive as I don't think I'll ever fill it up. Looking to spend £50 -£100 on it, and it's not going to be moved about so dekstop only 95% of the time.

So I'm looking for you guys to recommend me a good external harddrive that would fit my needs!

    Cheers!!

Memoryc are grand, ordered lots of stuff from them before, no complaints. Don't have the best RMA procedure (was out of pocket for sending back faulty RAM) but still would reccomend them

you can get 1TB external Seagates for either €89 or €99 upstairs in Easons and 2 TB for €129 I think. They have frequently been the cheapest place to get them over the last few years.
Maplin were doing a 2TB Seagate for €119, not sure if that will have just ended though.
