Hi all I was recently asked for advice regarding a workplace incident where personal details about Mr A were passed to a work colleague who reports directly Mr A. Would anybody know the legal position regarding the Data Protection Act or any other relevant piece of legislation? Thanks

When you say 'personal details' what sort of information, and also, why in what context were the details passed on?
