Has anyone here tried a converter kit to convert a generator to run on propane? Main advantage would be that propane never goes off A lot of them seem like a hatchet job, involve drilling into the carburettor and make it useless for running off petrol and there doesn't seem to be a purpose built carburettor that was…

A lot of them seem like a hatchet job, involve drilling into the carburettor and make it useless for running off petrol and there doesn't seem to be a purpose built carburettor that was designed from the ground up to run off propane.

Would they be cheaper to run than petrol over here?
