    Hi there,
I used to be a good chipper and even went to a Dave Peltz 1 day course in Florida once when I was on hols. Have been in a rut for 2 years now and need help. Can anyone recommend anyone? It's killing my game. Am happy to travel and am based in west Dublin. I wouldn't go to the pelz school in Killeen as I found it only average for pitching advice. Many thanks.
    Niall

    Look into GUI national Maynooth.

I went on a one day clinic. One on one is better for this stuff. But found Kenny Fahey good. This was pitched (sorry for pun) at general concept level. Up to you to practice it then, i've improved by about 2 to 3 extra up and downs per round.

There is one on one options and pros to suit all levels there, the facilities make you want to play good golf too.

Perfect if you are in West Dublin.

Thanks so much for that. So would you recommend a 1 day course and are they expensive or could a 1 hr lesson with that chap do the trick?

I'd say if you are real bad go for one day,
But one day I did , was bunkers and a talk on putting also.

The one day is for lads who are very bad / starting or over say 16 handicap (IMO). It is to see somebody who can chip the ball and how to do it correctly

If you are a low handicapper / single figures , you would not get much from the course - you would need one on one. With a good pro.

A group thing is fun and a bit of a kick start, but not for the fine details, or your fine details.

Hard to justify over 100 euro for it, 80 euro ok, 60 good value.

Ok thanks for the advice. Think a 1-1 lesson the best option.

Have been out to the short game clinic in Carton. It's a 3 hour session and the set up is great out there.

The day I did it was with a guy named Krishna who I believe is based out of Hollywood Lakes(?)

He knows his stuff and has a great manner & attitude
