I'm only new to this part of boards so I'm not sure if this has been done recently here or done at all, if so, mods feel free to close it if you want :)

I'm a massive hip hop fan and Biggie and Tupac are probably the most well known rappers ever born. Both were shot dead and nobody was convicted, there's many conspiracy theories surrounding their deaths.

A lot of people say the LAPD were involved, a lot of people say the FBI were involved. It's thought that the U.S government wanted to destabilize hip hop because they say it provoked violence and crime. Could it have been the government responsible for murdering either one? It's said while Tupac was in prison the FBI had undercover agents in prison telling him it was biggies men that had him shot in new york the first time he was nearly killed. Could it have been down to the government??

Or could Tupacs death have been down to a simple gangland murder? Himself and Suge Knight attacked a rival gang member before the mike tyson fight he was killed prior too, it's possible that this gang member came back for revenge that night and gunned pac down.

There's an excellent and very thought provoking documentary by nick broomfield called biggie and tupac, it's what got me thinking about the whole thing. I'd recommend it to anybody looking to find out more about this anyway.

I just gave a brief outline of only a fraction of the theories there is surrounding this, Discuss away lads, I'll be interested what people make of the whole situation :)

I literally cannot think of any good reason the US government would want to kill either of these men. It's just baffling to think anyone would believe this would be their method of getting rid of Hip Hop.
It'd be like claiming they killed John Lennon or Elvis to try and destroy Rock'n'Roll.

It basically comes down to this.
As an old fan of Tupac myself, the guy wasn't exactly the clean cut, peace lover people like to pretend he was. He was still heavily involved in loads of gang activity and was known for a fierce temper.

His murder was basically a pointless and brutal event, caused for no reason other than a gangland hit.

Explain Biggies murder then, his murder looks like a retaliation for the killing of pac, but if it was a simple gangland hit then big would have nothing to do with it, he wasnt involved in gangs.
