Monster clearance from Steyn, altitude factor important as usual.

    try Hougaard, England being pummeled

Missed the first try, who scored it?

  • Boks ball retention and speed of ruck ball is unreal

If SA keep this pace up this game could be an embarrassment for England. Nice step from Hougaard for the try. 22-3.

Alberts; ball squirted out the side of a 5-metre scrum and he just fell on it, couldn't believe his luck I'd say

nice try by england. not out of it yet.

This game is so open, quite weird for a test match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

DG from Morné Steyn, you just feel when England get someway close on the scoresheet, Steyn will just ping them back with 3 pointers.

England are so lacking in creativity it's not funny, nobody has a clue what to do and they just end up losing 10-15 yards whenever they go wide

Far too hot headed if you ask me. I reckon he could be a liability.

England getting their a**es handed to them here, could be a mountain to climb in the second half

England are taking the ball so far behind the gain-line it's ridiculous.

It makes our loss to them even worse. And highlights the importance of the scrum still in the modern game.

Yeh, that's why it makes it worse/bitter. They're so average it isn't even funny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Was the SA player not bound to the scrum? The ball was still in how was he able to come unbound? Same with the first try... am I missing something there?

    Queen's jubilee.
I will also add to pedanticisms: Union flag. Not union jack, which is a red naval flag with union flag in left top corner.

    ;)

Great comeback from England, but SA have been poor and have really dropped the ball.
