HD7850 with new 24"1920x1050 or HD7950/GTX670 with old 21"1680x1050

    These are my options. I'm really overthinking this!

    I can stick with my old monitor but get a superb graphics card, or I can buy a new monitor and get a weaker graphics card.

    I'll be playing demanding stuff - BF3 and newer games like far cry3/crysis3/gta5

    what your budget? I'd say 7850 with a new monitor and then stick in a second 7850 when you have the money and they've come down in price. Thats the option i went with anyway

    I'd planned on sticking to single card setup with a single PCI 3 slot on my motherboard.
