    I have an American friend who is coming to stalk deer this season with me in Ireland. He will have a deer hunting permit.Returning the favour for a hunt out there. He wants to bring his gun into to the country and I'd like to know what requirements and paperwork he will need? Obviously he hasn't got a European pass so if anyone has done this before or knows how to apply for a permit please advise me.thanks

    1) Non resident license
    2) deer license
    3) letter from Chief of Police
    4) proof of competence
