River Island Interview

    Hi Everyone,

    I have an interview next week in River Island for a sales advisor position. I badly need this job so was wondering if anyone knew what sort of questions/tasks I'd be asked to do? I want to be as prepared as possible. Its a group interview, as far as I know.

    Also, what should I wear? I have no idea, I want to look smart but I don't want to look like a fashion victim either.

    Any advice/opinions would be great, thanks :)

    Hi!

    I used to work for River Island, never did a group interview tho...

    You might be given a typical situation, like how you would deal with/approach a customer, how to deal with a difficult customer etc...

    They are HUGE on customer service to really focus on that!!

    Be confident, talk a lot - but not too much!

    As for what to wear, I'd go for something smart casual. Perhaps not a suit and tie, or jeans...but somewhere in between. Look neat and tidy, but professional.

    Hi, what store did you have the interview at? I just had an interview with River Island this evening for a sales advisor position! Im not sure at all if i'll get it!

    Do you know what the uniform allowance is? For a temp? Any information about the uniform would be great!!!!

    Usually 75% off 'work' jeans, which you're allowed to get roughly every 3 months, and 30% off everything else!
