    my son has me scurged for an app that when your phone recives a text it beeps like r2da lol... i no but hes just 11 anyone help me where to get this for him....

    it wouldn't be an app, just a sound sample of r2d2.

    google for it and copy it to your phone and then set it as your text alert tone.

    I use this app to find ringtones & message tones.

    I just opened it and searched for R2D2. It found 117 tones for R2D2. Once you click on one, it'll play automatically. Then if you want to keep it just hit the Free button to download and then Set to set it as a message tone or notification sound or contact ringtone.

    I also recommend the jazz tune from the Cantina as your ringtone, was probably my favourite tone ever, must get it back :o

    i have a great dance remix of that somewhere, not to mention a cantina band tshirt in the style or the rock band game. :D

    the best ringtone i ever had was superstition by stevie wonder. it was that great that you almost didn't want to pick up the phone any time it rang! :)

    It's funny to think about how 10-12 years ago when you got a new phone it was so exciting to get new ringtones or program them in on the 3210. Custom operator logos were another big thing. Now when you get a new phone the first thing you do is decide whether or not to root it and install custom roms, check out the HD screen, decided on email clients, widgets etc. If you showed me a One X back then my head would've exploded!

    Download an App called Zedge, has every ring tone, notification ya can think of, 117 different R2D2 notification sounds :D
