Not a Facebook user per say but they're requesting a phone number to log in now

but as of yesterday I was unable to log in until I provided a phone number (which obviously I didn't) and there's no way round it.
I searched for solutions on Google but the results returned were from 2010 and before, nothing more recent.
Don't really want to have to go to the bother of buying a sim card.
Surprised to see there's nothing about it on here.
Anyone been denied log on yet?0

No, it's not there, not an option given to you
think it was before but not now.
One of the 'solutions' I saw from my search was to just hit the home page, but that doesn't work now either...0 -
