    Hi,
    I am working almost full-time and will struggle to make my lectures. I am doing 2 modules from 2nd Yr B.A. My subjects are;

    Bliain 2: Téarma 1 (MF-Nollaig)
    GA4713: An Ghearrscéalaíocht agus Béaloideas. GA4723: An litríocht chlasaiceach,

    agus

    Bliain 2: Téarma 2 (Eanáir-Bealtaine)
    GA4714: Filíocht an 17ú agus an 18ú Céad LD4720 Mná i litríocht na Gaeilge.

    Few questions;
    Do lectures take attendance?
    Do they put notes online? (moodle etc..)
    Could i pass modules with the notes only?

    Regards
    Cealle

    I do Irish and tbh, I regret taking it! I only chose it cos I couldn't do French! One or two of the lecturers are very helpful but the rest are very arrogant; if you are not good at Irish, they will mock you when you try to talk to them as Gaeilge (the only way to contact them).

    Lecture notes are not very helpful as you a lot is old Irish which even through google translate or basic knowledge does not make sense!

    I loved Irish in Secondary school (got an A1) but in college it's a different ball game! You need GOOD Irish!

    Take it that this is only from my angle but I hope it helps some bit!
    Please do ask around though as my answer may be biased towards my own bad experiences!

    Go n-eiri an t-adh leat!
    Poxy!

    I'm surprised to hear that about the lecturers Poxy, I always found them helpful in first year.
