So, a friend of mine is getting married next friday, and they just picked up the wedding and bridesmaid dresses. Upon picking them up, they discovered that the vendor had completely ****ed them up, and they're pretty much unwearable.

So, his wife to be is now frantically running around trying to find dresses at T-1 week, and as the best man I'm trying to help get this sorted. I've brainstormed everything I can, and figured I'd crowdsource helping. So, internet, if you had to get a wedding/bridesmaid dress in a week, what would you do?

debenhams have a half price sale on at the moment that might include bridesmaid dresses, my cousin got her there and they were FAB.
They also do wedding dresses if i recall correctly.

If you're in Dublin or Carlow, I'd also recommend Barnardos Bridal for wedding dress. Girls in both shops are amazing, really helpful and friendly. I'd bet they'd have her sorted in no time.

Coast also worth a go for bridesmaid dresses.

    hit your nearest Debenhams

for the bridesmaid dresses try high street shops like

    Coast,
    Oasis,
    Jane Norman,
New look. (sometimes have gorgeous dresses)

    for Bridal,

try a bridal shop they may help you out if you explain,

for off the rail bridal dress try monsoon (best bet)

    or debenhams again.

where in county are you (or could you travel to?) might help us narrow down shops?

    Monsoon,
    Debenhams,
    Pamela Scott (grafton street)

All great places for good cost and beautiful bridesmaid dresses.

yes, can't go wrong with Debenhams. I'd also try Monsoon, as well as online. They do fairly fast delivery if there's something she likes but can't find in the store.
Brown Thomas would have nice dressy stuff, if she has the budget or if it's on sale.
if she got her dresses off ebay she may be reluctant to go that route again but I've got clothes off ebay stores before and they can do express delivery (as long as it's not made to order).

If she's in Dublin there's Coast, LK Bennett, Monsoon, Lipsy and House of Fraser in Dundrum town centre. Some of the boutiquey type places on level 2 of house of fraser have stuff that would be nice for BMs and they quite often have sales on. My sister in law got dresses in house of fraser and got a good discount in the sales. There's also Next, River Island and M&S so hopefully she'd see something.

Debenhams is also awesome, they're in the square tallaght, blanchardstown, and henry st in city centre. They're kind of a one stop shop when it comes to wedding stuff and if you're looking for sizes etc I've found they're usually quite helpful at ringing around their other stores to see have they got the one you need in stock.

Just out of interest, what did the vendor do to the dresses? The thought of that happening is utterly terrifying!! Your poor friends, this is the last thing they need at this stage, I really hope they get sorted without too much hassle.
