    hi guys what details do i need to give to someone wiring money to my bank account

    swift code
    iban
    sorting code

    do i need to give my
    account nubmer
    account name

    :confused:

    i gave this guys the swift code - iban - sorting code

    do i need to give more i know the name i need to give but my account number ??

    I have given my account number before no problem. There is nothing they can really do with it but pay money to you.

    If you are buying from a site you can post the link here and we can have a look to see if they seem dodgy.

    IBAN and swiftcode are all that are necessary. These can only be used for incoming transactions.
