Degree not recognised by Teaching Council

    Hi

    can someone tell me how i can get my degree recognised for the purposes of doing the post grad dip in secondary teaching?

    Send in your degree to be assessed ( I think you already have) check the subject criteria on the teaching council website . If you're lacking certain credits , check out part time courses in ucd, DCU , and the open university .

    Hi - yes, you need to send details of your degree to the Teaching Council, i.e. course content, modules studied, etc., and also transcripts of results. There is a form to complete and there is a fee for the assessment - 200 euros for each subject you want to have assessed, as far as I know. Check the Teaching Council website for more details.
