As long as you said nearly directly proportional, then you should get marks; they weren't exactly directly proportional

I said nearly, also said within margin of error in brackets. Because it is within margin of error.

I thought this year's science paper was okay but very unusual!..No chemical equations, no chemical reactions or no physics calculations!

Gonna end the argument on the railway tracks once and for all: http://resources1.news.com.au/images/2009/02/05/va1237353613757/Trains-a-go-slow-6473867.jpg Found this when i searched 'images of railway track buckled by heat', As Spook_ie proposed.

I have to agree with Paddyzk on this one, they are one of my strong parts when it comes to science so I'm gutted I didn't choose it for LC, oh well too late now. And I believe there was an equation, the reaction of an alkali metal with water? I hate the physics calculations.

I wrote the equation in words for the reaction of an alkali metal with water..Is that okay to do?

for that answer would it have been ok to say that they are not in direct proprtion and that one of the things increased at a steady rate while the other didnt? :)

quick q : were you supposed to get a set of log tables for that exam?

My whole class put their hands up to ask for log table before we even opened our paper :P I thought the science paper was oddly worded and was annoyed it didn't have any formula/equations really as that's all I spent the week before studying :Z :P
