Passport Expired Ryanair Problem

Hi all, I was hoping someone might know more than me on this, the problem is I am due to fly to London in 2 days time. I am booked to fly with Ryanair and I have tried to check-in online however I noticed my passport expired last month resulting in no checkin :(

I have checked with Ryanair, they dont let you fly with anything other than a valid passport! Every other airline allows travel with Drivers license/Id cards.

Has anyone had this issue before, I dont think I can get an emergency passport in time...

    Any thoughts ?

Go to the passport office as soon as they open. Bring proof of your travel plans with you as well as the expired passport and new pix. Be prepared to camp out there all day, and BEG them to rush you an emergency passport. I have read posts on here from people who were successful doing that. I can't really see anything else working to be honest. Yes, other airlines let you use other forms of ID. Ryanair do not. Sadly, they are not very flexible about it.
