    Details here

Millar in the Road squad of 8 (to be reduced to 5 in due course)
Philip Hindes has been given the 3rd place in the track Team Sprint
There will be an interesting selection to make for the ladies team pursuit with Wendy Houvenaghel back challenging the three who smashed the world record recently

track events are now pointless seeing as the best in the world wont get to race each other ( 1 rider per event) that rule change meant i pretty much lost interest in the olympics, the worlds is the pinnacle these days , olympic medals are seriously devalued.

Ye its terrible that Chris Hoy and Jason Kenny cant both do match sprint, Kenny has had better form(in match sprint) but Hoy deserves to defend his title.
I hope Hoy gets the Keirin gold, it would be a great way to finish his career
, tho I cant see him not participating in the Commonwealth games at the new Glasgow velodrome in 2yrs
