    Well folks,
Any advice on a good shop for a "chrome pack" (A-bar, Side steps etc) for 4 * 4's?

Not too sure about anywhere doing chrome for the Amarok yet.

An option is to get them custom made, there is a place in Teemore in Fermanagh that makes A bars etc for whatever you want. I can get a name/number if your interested?

Most engineering spots will do this though, the time of them not being interested in these 'little' jobs is long gone.

BTW how do you find her on juice and to pull?

Do a search on Tabenreuther although as Farls says it may be a bit early yet for accessories to appear for a new model. West Coast Spares in Galway are agents for them.

Well it the boss man doing most o the driving so should be ok. Seems grand so far, on trip clock says between 7 & 8 l per 100kms. Driving easy it up on 40mpg, on trailer going hard it went to 9l/100kms (31mpg aprox.) I put her on cattle trailer the last day to break it in! Couldnt believe it, low box excellent, went around wet field with trailer. I know its nothing special, but good for us so far! We were looking at other ones, same power / more torque as upqraded/re-mapped l200 & D-max, 3litre hilux quotes slightly better figures. Wider load area also.
