I was last insured in 07/11 with 4 years NCB. I haven't been insured since but was looking up quotes to get back on the road today. A friend today said that if a year should elapse, 31/07/12, that I will lose all my NCB and start from scratch... Is this true? Cheers in advance for any info!

Its 2 years, I didnt know this and went to get insured recently and was told I had no bonus. I was not impressed, driving over twenty year claims free and they cancel it because I didnt have a policy in my name for two years, seems a bit unfair...
