    Hi Lads,

Just looking for some opinions and experiences with the pajero sport.
I've always liked the look of these so I'm thinking I might give one a go. I don't need it for towing more than my jetski, it'll just be used as a car with the dog thrown in the back the odd time!

Are there any known faults, things to look out for? I'm thinking maybe 03-05 years! http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/commercials/3451870

You can do so much better than a paj sport. They're an ancient design, not very big inside, not very manouverable, very slow and hard on diesel.

Ok thanks, not a great review! What would you recommend?? I've always had a thing for jeeps so I'd like to get something! Should also mention it'll probly get maybe 3 or 4 spins over and back to the uk every year when I go over for work, so I'd like something fairly comfortable on long spins, won't be loaded with anything though, just myself!

I'd get something like a Subaru forrester turbo or something, mpg wise it'd be around the same as the pajero, it'd be well up to towing, it'll take the dog, and be nice to drive and has back seats so don't pay commercial tolls either.

Tbh it's the ride height of something like the pajero sport that appeals to me, so I'd like something along that line rather than the Subaru! Not to bothered about tolls or stuff like that, driving a golf van at the moment so I'm kinda used to it!

i have an 05 Pajero sport and i have it 4.5years. It had 40k km on it when i bought it. THere almost 200k on it now.

I am an accountant so thats what it does mostly with, and in last 2 years i farm, She will pull 4ton no problem.

Fuel - about same as any other jeep.

I had to put a turbo into it at 80k, but it was due to a new oil filter blocking flow, not the jeeps problem. thats all i had to do with it.

Alot cheaper to buy that a standard padero or toyota. Im going to buy a L200 next with the 2.5tdi engine

I often drive to dublin and back in it and no hassle.
